Trump: Pakistan and India have made peace

In a statement on his Truth Social network, Trump announced that talks between India and Pakistan were held overnight under US mediation.

"I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a complete and immediate ceasefire," Trump said, congratulating both countries for their wise positions.

Pakistani Foreign Minister Dar also announced that an agreement has been reached between Pakistan and India on a ceasefire that will take effect immediately.
