According to him, Russia lost interest in Syria because of Ukraine.

President-elect Donald Trump said this while commenting on the situation in the Middle East country.
"Assad is gone. He fled his country. Russia, led by his protector Vladimir Putin, is no longer interested in protecting him," Trump wrote on Truth Social.
He said that Russia lost interest in Syria because of Ukraine.
The 61-year bloody rule of the Baath Party, which came to power in Syria in 1963, has collapsed. With the entry of anti-regime armed forces into the capital Damascus, the rule of the Bashar Assad regime and the Ba'ath Party ended.
Events in Syria
