Trump and Jordanian King hold talks on Palestine

US President Donald Trump met with Jordanian King Abdullah II at the White House. Trump proposed relocating Palestinians to Jordan and Egypt to resolve the situation in Gaza.

"The US does not want to buy Gaza, it wants to establish peace. We will ensure economic development," he said, explaining his opinion.

Abdullah II reminded that the Egyptian initiative should also be taken into account before implementing the US plan. At the same time, he stressed that Jordan would accept 2,000 sick Palestinian children.

Trump's plan to occupy Gaza has alarmed Arab states, with an emergency Arab summit scheduled for February 27 to discuss the proposal.
