Those who have lived together for many years may be given a "bonus". In Russia
In Russia, a "bonus" may be paid to those who have been married for a long time (30 years or more). A corresponding bill will be submitted to the State Duma today, February 14.
One of the authors of the document, Yaroslav Nilov, chairman of the Duma's labor committee, said that if approved, this law would cover all Russians, including those married during the former Soviet era.
Deputies are proposing to make a one-time payment on anniversaries for families who have been married for many years. According to it, if a couple divorces and remarries, the years they lived together will not be rounded up. The right to receive the payment will be preserved even if one of the spouses dies in the anniversary year.
Those who have been in an unmarried marriage for 30 years will receive 30,000 rubles (about $335). For each subsequent decade, 10,000 rubles will be added to the payment.
