The United States, Israel and Ukraine are negotiating the delivery of up to eight Patriot air defense systems to Kiev. This was reported by the Financial Times newspaper, citing its sources.

According to the publication's interlocutors, the agreement has not yet been finalized, but it most likely means that Israel will send the Patriots first to the United States, and from there to Ukraine. The talks are being held with the participation of ministers and other high-ranking officials of the three countries.

It is noted that in April, the occupying government indicated that it would decommission eight Patriot batteries with a history of 30 years and replace them with more advanced systems. However, the Zionists have yet to fully abandon this system, given that the conflict with the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement could escalate into a larger war.

Experts note that if the air defense system is handed over to Kiev, it will significantly increase the country's defense capabilities. Ukraine currently has at least four Patriot systems, supplied by the US and Germany. Nevertheless, the extremely cautious occupation government fears that Israel's participation in the talks on aid to Ukraine could worsen its relations with Russia.
