The US launched an investigation into Spain for refusing to support the genocide
The US has launched an investigation into Spain, which has refused to allow cargo ships carrying American weapons for Israel to enter its ports.
The United States has opened an investigation into the fact that Spain, a NATO ally, is denying access to the ports of cargo ships carrying American weapons to Israel. This was reported by the Associated Press with reference to the Federal Maritime Commission (FMS), which is responsible for monitoring US international trade and shipping.
The Federal Maritime Commission, an independent body that monitors and evaluates conditions that could affect shipping and US international trade, said it opened the case after receiving information that at least three cargo ships were denied entry to Spanish ports.
"The Commission is concerned that denying access to certain vessels will create unfavorable conditions for the movement of goods in foreign commerce," the notice published in the Federal Register said.
If the investigation finds Spain guilty, the commission could be fined up to $3 million.
