The US has frozen an agreement to supply 130 bulldozers to Israel because they are being used to demolish houses in Gaza, Israeli media reports.

Israeli publication Ediot Ahronot reported, citing security sources, that Washington recently suspended the deal because D9 bulldozers manufactured by the American company Caterpillar were used to demolish houses in Gaza, which caused widespread criticism in the United States.

The publication also reported that a freeze on bulldozer supplies is delaying Israel's plans to create a buffer zone between Gaza and the Negev. The plan calls for the demolition of hundreds of Palestinian homes and farmland along the Gaza border to create the empty area.

According to the publication, Washington has also frozen the delivery of 1,300 heavy bombs purchased from Boeing for the Israeli army.
