The Syrian Ministry of Defense is undergoing structural changes.
Positions and military units are being reassigned within the Syrian Ministry of Defense as part of the formation of a new military structure, Al Jazeera sources report.
According to the new appointments:
▪️ General Anad Al-Darwish has been appointed head of the Administrative Affairs Department of the Ministry of Defense.
▪️ General Muhammad Mansur has been appointed as the head of the personnel department.
▪️ New military units have been formed in the cities of Hama, Homs, Daraa, Palmyra, Damascus and Idlib.
▪️ Haitham Al-Ali was appointed commander of the Homs Division, and Bunyan Ahmed Al-Hariri was appointed commander of the Daraa Division.
▪️ Abu Al-Qasim Beit Jinn became the head of the Syrian Air Force.
According to sources, the Syrian Air Force has been completely restructured and reorganized. Also, a special committee for inventorying weapons, personnel, and property is in the process of completing the process of liquidating factions.
These changes in Syria are said to be aimed at stabilizing the military-political situation in the country.
