Initially, Alexey Kuleba reported that five people were killed and nine were injured as a result of the ballistic missile attack by Russian forces on the port infrastructure of Odessa region. According to him, all the victims are Ukrainians. "Now they are receiving medical assistance, the condition of five people is serious," said Kuleba.

Later, the head of the military administration, Oleg Kiper, announced that the number of dead has reached 6, and the number of wounded has reached 8, of which four are in serious condition.

A Panamanian-flagged civilian vessel, the container ship Shui Spirit, was also damaged in the attack. This is the third foreign ship attacked by Russia in the last four days.
