The Palestinian resistance movement can survive without external support. What about Israel?

The roots of the Palestinian resistance movement date back to 1882. The military, financial and diplomatic support of the British Empire, America and other Western countries, the overt or tacit support of some Arab dictators for the Zionists, and the treachery of the Palestinian Authority have not prevented this resistance movement from fighting without any external support. But it is unlikely that Israel will remain on Palestinian soil for long without external support...

Despite Israel's recent triumphs, its Palestinian victims will continue to fight until the genocidal Jewish supremacist regime in Gaza is completely destroyed.

Over the past two months, the Israelis and their American masters have intensified their campaign of destruction in Gaza in an attempt to crush the Palestinian resistance once and for all.

The United States and Israel, which have failed to achieve their goals since October 7, 2023, have been accusing allies of the Palestinian resistance of providing it with military support.

They began attacking these allies, based on the belief that without external support, the Palestinian resistance would weaken and cease to function.

In fact, Israel itself, founded in 1948, could not have survived economically and militarily without extensive and constant financial, military, and diplomatic support from the West.

Indeed, Israel cannot survive today without such a large amount of external aid and protection, without which the colony of aliens (the invading Jews who occupied Palestinian land) would surely collapse within a few months.

This truth has become especially evident over the past year. It has become clear that Israel, which is often referred to as a military power, is capable of nothing less than genocide of civilians.

To achieve its goals, Israel relies on significant military and intelligence support from the United States and the European Union. With their support, Israel has been able to weaken Lebanese resistance. However, this too, despite being violated more than 100 times, ended in a ceasefire agreement with Lebanon, and relations with Iran have reached a stalemate.

Meanwhile, Israel, with the full support of the US and the European Union, has intensified its massacres and mass starvation of Palestinians in northern Gaza, as well as its Israeli settler pogroms, military raids, and incursions into West Bank cities.

There has also been an increase in repression of Palestinians in occupied East Jerusalem, with anti-Palestinian racism being introduced in Jewish schools and the Palestinian curriculum being banned, and the confiscation of Palestinian homes and businesses in favor of Jewish settlers has increased.

The latest US-Israeli strategy aims to erase the memory of the major military defeats that Israelis have suffered since last October.

Most importantly, it aimed to consolidate Jewish settler colonialism in the face of ongoing military threats from the resistance and impose the will of Israel not only on the Palestinian people, but on the entire Arab world.

Palestinian resistance

The US has overthrown all the Arab dictators who accepted the order to normalize relations with Israel (Saddam Hussein, Muammar Gaddafi, Mohammed Morsi), while supporting all the other Arab dictators who have completely submitted to its will (from Morocco to Jordan and the Palestinian Authority), confident that it can completely suppress Palestinian resistance.

This mentality is based on the enduring ideological beliefs of the imperialist US and the genocidal Israeli state, which believe that the Palestinian resistance is not based on Israeli genocide, the confiscation of Palestinian homes and land, and the apartheid regime, but rather that the Palestinian resistance is supported from outside.

It is surprising that they are unwilling to learn from the history of the Palestinian resistance. The fact that the Palestinian resistance began in the 1880s, at the beginning of Jewish colonization and without external support, seems irrelevant to racist Americans and Israeli strategists.

In fact, the Palestinian peasant resistance, which began in 1882 and continued until the 1890s, was directed against all Jewish colonies to such an extent that "there was hardly a Jewish colony left that did not come into conflict" with the local Palestinian peasants.

Since then, the Palestinian resistance has largely continued without external support; on the contrary, support for the Zionist oppressors from European countries and the United States has increased significantly in quantity and quality.

With the exception of a few volunteers from abroad, the Palestinian people themselves fought with all their might against the British Empire and Zionist gangs in the 1920s and 1930s.

Transjordanian peasant revolutionaries, who attempted to support the Palestinians by providing sanctuary and who acted against British interests in Transjordan, were quickly suppressed in the second half of the 1930s by the Emir of Transjordan, Abdullah, and his British-controlled army, who used 10 British RAF aircraft to bomb them.

On May 15, 1948, several Arab armies joined forces to defeat the Zionist-backed campaign that had begun on November 30, 1947, to stop the expulsion of some 400,000 Palestinians from their lands and to secure 45 percent of Palestine. The UN partition plan of November 29, 1947, was a complete failure.

Despite being outnumbered by the much better trained and equipped Zionist hordes, the poorly equipped Arab troops were unable to prevent the Zionists from expelling another 360,000 Palestinians and losing more than half of the 45 percent of Palestinian territory they were supposed to defend.

Abdullah, who had by then declared himself king, annexed all the lands he had managed to retain to Jordan, in accordance with a plan he had worked out with the Zionists. He later refused to recognize the full Palestinian government established in Gaza in September 1948.

The imperial powers recognized Israel's annexation of 78 percent of Palestine (Gaza was occupied by the Israelis twice: in 1956 and again in 1967, when it was under Egyptian protection until Israel captured it.)

British and American Jewish volunteer pilots and international Zionist Jewish crews came to Palestine from all over the Western world to help with the Zionist takeover of Palestinian lands. Many of these volunteers continue to come to Israel, helping to establish Jewish supremacy and apartheid for the Palestinians.

Loss of legitimacy

Since October 7, 2023, the US and the European Union have become full legal partners in Israel's genocide against the Palestinians. All Arab regimes, including the traitorous Palestinian Authority, openly or tacitly support this genocide. With the exception of Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, and some resistance groups in Iraq and Syria.

Israel's Palestinian, Arab, and Western supporters play a key role in militarily defending Israel from attacks by the resistance forces and Iran, while the Palestinian Authority is carrying out a crackdown on Palestinian resistance forces in the West Bank.

Meanwhile, Palestinian supporters have launched a campaign aimed at making it more difficult for Israeli supporters and sponsors to support the ongoing genocide.

Whether it's the UN, the International Court of Justice, or the International Criminal Court, the US has adopted a number of resolutions, decisions, and indictments against Israel, despite the US trying to neutralize them by using all the threats and sanctions at its disposal.

This should be added to the successes recorded, including in Norway, in the implementation of boycotts, divestments, and sanctions, which are putting pressure on countries and companies to withdraw investments in Israel.

Furthermore, the declining support for Israel by the Western public, including a large portion of European and American Jews, is also weakening the legitimacy of the genocidal alien colony.

The impending collapse

It is too early to draw conclusions from the results of the last 15 months. There is a perception that Israel, which has not taken into account the genocide, is militarily, economically and diplomatically weak and is unable to stop itself from weakening on all fronts day by day.

However, thanks to significant military and financial support from the US and the European Union, the Israelis can continue to use all kinds of brutal methods to crush Palestinian resistance.

But what surprises American and Israeli strategists is that the Palestinian resistance, which has not received military or financial support from any external source since October 7, 2023, continues to resist the genocidal Israelis in Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem.

Despite the joy and celebration in Israel over its recent achievements, Palestinian victims will continue to struggle until its genocidal regime of Jewish supremacy is completely dismantled.

Given these events, it is more likely that Israel, which is carrying out the genocide, will not survive due to the decline of foreign aid and international isolation than the Palestinian resistance forces.

American and Israeli strategists are well aware of this, even though they refuse to acknowledge its realism.

The bloody horrors they are unleashing in the Arab region today only delay the inevitable collapse of the settler-colonial system based on genocide, but cannot preserve its existence.
