Britain's King Charles III has been hospitalized due to side effects from cancer treatment, Buckingham Palace said.

It is noted that all events that the king was scheduled to attend on March 27-28, including the ceremony of presenting credentials to the ambassadors of the three countries and public meetings, have been canceled.

"Following a brief treatment, the monarch has returned to her official residence, Clarence House, where she continues to work on state papers," Buckingham Palace said in a statement.

Recall that in February 2024, 75-year-old Charles III was diagnosed with cancer.
