At the Meadow Heights Mosque in Melbourne, Australia, 30 Australian women embraced Islam after being moved by the resilience of Gazans in the face of Israeli massacres. They felt connected to Islam through their sympathy for the Palestinian people and eventually decided to convert.

Australians are getting closer to Islam as they sympathize with the Israeli army's unprecedented atrocities in Gaza. At the Meadow Heights mosque in Melbourne alone, 30 Australian women converted to Islam after being moved by the resilience of Gazans in the face of Israeli massacres.

For example, Jacqueline Retzak from Australia was one of those who said the word tawhid (martyrdom) in a mosque in Melbourne, reports Siasat.

"I converted to Islam because of the military conflict, I wanted to be closer to Islam and Gaza," he said.

Another Australian, Christine Krnogonac, said that the plight of the Palestinian people makes her cry every day. He also felt a connection to Islam through his sympathy for the Palestinian people, and said he would pray for a speedy end to the war.

A similar situation happened earlier with American activist and TikToker Megan Rice. In November, he was inspired by the tenacity of the people of the Gaza Strip and started reciting the Qur'an and then converted to Islam.

Azan Global also reported that in December, Israel's attacks on Gaza have increased public interest in the Palestinian cause and the number of converts to Islam in Spain.
