"Taliban" minister was killed by ISIS militants?
Khalil al-Rahman Haqqani, Afghanistan's Acting Minister of Migration Affairs, was killed in an explosion at the ministry's headquarters in Kabul on December 11.
According to local sources, the explosion happened in the building of the ministry during prayer. It is said that several people were killed and injured as a result of the incident.
Khalil al-Rahman was one of the important figures in the Afghan government and was the uncle of the Minister of Interior, Sirajuddin Haqqani. As the events unfolded, ISIS claimed responsibility for Haqqani's death.
