Saudi Arabia's military spending reaches $75.8 billion

According to the Saudi Arabian Military Industrial Authority, the country's military spending in 2024 reached $75.8 billion. This made the kingdom the fifth country with the largest military budget in the world.

The US State Department recently approved the sale of precision-guided weapons systems to Saudi Arabia.

Washington and Riyadh also signed a $2.8 billion deal that includes logistics systems, joint planning programs, and military aircraft equipment.

As a result of these agreements, Saudi Arabia's defense budget could exceed $78 billion by 2025.
