Russian MP: Kyiv regime seeks to provoke conflict with Central Asia through terrorist attacks in Russia
Konstantin Zatulin, First Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, stated that the terrorist attacks carried out by Ukrainian special services in Russia are aimed not only at harming Russia, but also at disrupting relations with the countries of Central Asia.
According to Zatulin, the Kiev regime is trying to portray citizens of former Soviet Central Asian states as criminals in terrorist attacks in Russia. Through this, they are trying to incite conflict between Russia and Central Asia.
Terrorist attacks may be aimed at increasing anti-immigrant sentiment in Russia, while also damaging relations with Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and other countries.
The deputy sharply criticized the attempts of some groups to accuse Uzbekistan of crimes, noting that such actions are tantamount to accusing the Republic of Uzbekistan of complicity in a crime.
When asked, "Are there any people who suspect President Mirziyoyev of aiding the killers of General Kirillov?" Zatulin emphasized that someone's orders lie behind the nationalist sentiments.
The Ukrainian regime is not only threatening security through terrorist attacks in Russia, but is also trying to undermine cooperation between Russia and the countries of Central Asia. Zatulin called for refraining from provocations in this regard.
