Russian Interior Ministry: Foreigners committed 2 times fewer crimes than Russian citizens

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the number of crimes committed by foreigners in Russia is half that of crimes committed by citizens of the country.

According to official data, in 2024, 1,911,300 crimes were committed in Russia, of which 39,000 were committed by foreigners (including migrants). At the same time, the Ministry of Internal Affairs notes that there are 6.5 million foreigners living in the country. In this case, the crimes committed by them are only half of the total number of crimes.
