Putin says he will conditionally support Trump's Gaza plan

Russian President Vladimir Putin has made a statement about US President Donald Trump's plan for Gaza. Putin, who called the situation in Gaza "catastrophic," said he would support Trump's plan only if it contributes to the "two-state solution."

Putin called the situation in Gaza the most terrible event in human history and stressed that the government of Mahmoud Abbas must regain control over Gaza.

However, the Russian president added that he is also in contact with Hamas representatives.

Putin also touched on relations between Kiev and the West, saying that European countries do not pity the Ukrainian people, but rather consider them an "extra expense."
