The Russian president called the killing of General Igor Kirillov a terrorist attack organized by Ukraine. He said this was not the first terrorist attack committed by the Kiev regime. He cited attacks on civilians and other crimes on Russian territory as examples.

Russian President Vladimir Putin called the killing of General Igor Kirillov a terrorist attack orchestrated by Ukraine, he said in an interview with NBC during its "Year in Review" broadcast.

The president said this was not the first terrorist attack committed by the Kiev regime. He cited attacks on civilians and other crimes on Russian territory as examples. Putin also criticized Western journalists for not condemning such actions.

Vladimir Putin thanked an American journalist for calling Kirillov's killing an "assassination." He believes that this incident was not just a murder, but a terrorist attack that threatened the lives of many people.

The attack took place on December 17. An explosive device attached to an electric scooter was detonated remotely near General Kirillov's home. The general and his aide were killed.

An Uzbek citizen suspected of carrying out the bombing has been detained. During interrogation, he admitted that he was recruited by Ukrainian special services.

Vladimir Putin blamed the Ukrainian regime for the death of General Kirillov, describing it as an act of terrorism, but criticized the silence of Western media outlets in condemning such events.
