Kazan halal market trade fair will be opened on May 14 as part of the annual international economic forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum". The forum includes more than 4,500 products with relevant certificates from the leading manufacturing companies in the Islamic world. 36 Russian companies will present their products.

 

 

This year, 72 foreign companies from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Pakistan applied to participate in it. As the organizers of the forum noted, this year Indonesian and Malaysian manufacturers have shown additional interest in the fair. The fair is located on an area of 5 thousand square meters.

The forum includes more than 4,500 products with relevant certificates from the leading manufacturing companies in the Islamic world. 36 Russian companies will present their products.

Also, delicacies made from horse meat, beekeeping products, sugarcane crops, medicinal herbs, teas, preserves, national costumes, handicraft products will be exhibited at the Forum.

All these can be bought by market visitors. Addressing the participants of KazanForum 2023, OIC Secretary General Husayn Ibrahim Taha noted that mutual supply of halal market and Islamic standards opens up new opportunities.

"The global halal market is growing very fast and is currently estimated at $2.6 trillion. I hope that the work of the Forum will help to further develop the halal industry and trade in Russia. By 2028, the market is expected to exceed 11 trillion dollars," said Taha.
