Phones banned in French schools
France will ban all students aged 11-15 from using mobile phones at school starting in September this year.
According to officials, phones are placed in special boxes or locking cases before the start of class and are only returned at the end of the lesson.
Education Minister Elizabeth Bourne said these measures are necessary to ensure the mental health and well-being of students.
He stated that the new system is being implemented, inspired by the successful results of the "digital break" program.
For your information, France first introduced phone restrictions in schools in 2018.
As a result, bullying decreased, and children increased their communication and physical activity.
