Our relations with Tajikistan are improving - "Taliban"

In an interview with Tolo News, the official spokesman for the Taliban movement, Zabihullah Mujahid, said that relations between Afghanistan and Tajikistan are improving day by day.

According to him, the Taliban has managed to convince representatives of many countries that Afghanistan is a safe place and that no threat to foreigners will be allowed on its territory.

This is not the first time the Taliban has spoken about its relations with Tajikistan. Before Mujahid, two other senior Taliban officials had also spoken about strengthening cooperation with Dushanbe.

However, official Tajikistan has not commented on these statements. Since the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan, Tajikistan has repeatedly criticized the movement and called for the creation of an inclusive government in the neighboring country.
