Nightclubs near religious sites have been proposed to be closed. Only in Russia

Mikhail Ivanov, a deputy of the Bryansk Regional Duma and leader of the Orthodox Russia movement, has put forward an initiative to close nightclubs located near churches and mosques, ProGorodChelny reported.

Ivanov said that loud music and gatherings in clubs interfere with religious ceremonies. He said that a similar ban should be imposed on all bars and restaurants, but noted that this is technically difficult. For this reason, the need to focus primarily on nightlife establishments is emphasized.

The deputy believes that this initiative is supported by many Russians who understand the importance of maintaining a spiritual atmosphere around churches and mosques.
