Moscow is concerned about the future of its military bases in Syria

Official Moscow and Damascus will continue negotiations on the status of Russian military bases in Syria, Russian media reported, citing Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.

"The issue of leaving Russian military bases in Syria requires additional consultations. The parties are in favor of continuing mutual negotiations on this issue," Bogdanov told reporters.

According to him, at the moment, Russian military bases continue to operate in the area, but it is not known whether they will leave in the future.
