"Modi, do you want war? Then start it" — Pakistan's Defense Ministry
Pakistan's Ministry of Defense has released a series of messages and videos on social media that indicate its readiness for a military confrontation with India . In the messages, the Pakistani government openly threatens India, saying that it is ready to "destroy" one of its territories.
The Defense Ministry's first post showed a missile being launched. The caption read: "Thank you, Modi, you have united our people. Do you want war? Then go ahead. Pakistan is ready."
In the next video, a military officer stands in front of a line of soldiers and delivers a speech: "Pakistan is the only country in South Asia that will never recognize Indian rule and will never submit to intimidation."
The ministry's page also posted several other videos showing the launch of missile systems.
According to the Ukrainian publication Strana.ua, the missile system shown in the videos is a Pakistani-developed multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) called the Fath-2, which can hit targets up to 400 kilometers away.
"The distance from Kasur (a city in Pakistan) to New Delhi is 383 km. Pakistan has a significant advantage over India in the field of RZSO," one of the tweets reads.
For information, both Pakistan and India are nuclear weapons states. Both countries have approximately 160 nuclear warheads in their nuclear arsenals.
It should be noted that this political conflict arose after the Indian government announced tough measures against Pakistan in an emergency meeting convened on April 22 following a terrorist attack in Kashmir.
