Kashmiri traders attacked in India

Pakistani man Shabir Ahmad Dar and his partner, who had been selling scarves for 20 years in Mussoorie, India, were attacked by Hindu nationalists, who publicly beat and insulted them, and looted their products .

Trader Dar says the radicals insulted them and ordered them to leave the city, and their products worth thousands of dollars are still in the hands of the nationalists.

A video of the attack went viral online: police briefly detained the three attackers, but fined them and quickly released them. After the incident, Dar and dozens of other Kashmiri traders who worked with him left Mussoorie.
