Israeli intelligence is being deployed at Cypriot airports

The Cypriot government has accepted Israel's request to station Mossad and Shin Bet intelligence agents at Paphos and Larnaca airports, Cypriot media reported.

The decision was made following reports of a terrorist attack at Paphos Airport. As a result, all flights were diverted to Larnaca Airport.

Israeli citizens living in Cyprus have also been urged to take precautions due to the high terrorist threat.

The Cypriot administration has decided to tighten security measures at airports at the request of Israel. Mossad and Shin Bet agents have begun surveillance in and around airports.
