Israel plans to build thousands of homes in West Bank — Al Jazeera

Israel will build thousands of homes in the occupied West Bank, Al Jazeera reported on February 17.

It is noted that the construction of new homes in the West Bank is being organized by Israelis who support harsh measures. This policy is supported by the occupying Israeli government.

The construction is viewed by Palestinians and some international organizations as an obstacle to peace.

The project would increase the population of the Israeli settlement of Euphrates, located 12 kilometers southwest of Jerusalem, by 40 percent.
