Israel may transfer seized weapons to Ukraine

The Ukrainian Embassy in Israel has announced that Tel Aviv is considering the initiative to transfer Russian-made weapons seized in Gaza and Lebanon to the Ukrainian government.

On January 21, Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel Yevgeny Korniychuk met with Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Sharen Haskel and thanked him for the initiative. Ukraine called the move "an important step in recognizing common threats."

Israel has not yet officially confirmed its readiness to hand over the weapons, but local sources report that weapons seized from Hezbollah could also be transferred to Ukraine.

Recall that in November, Israel delivered early warning systems for missile attacks to Ukraine.
