Israel* is using hunger as a weapon

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced that humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza have been completely halted for 50 days.

He claims that Israel is using starvation as a means of punishment and oppression against Palestinians.

Fidan made the remarks at a press conference with the Norwegian Foreign Minister in Ankara.

He drew attention to the fact that so many people are being killed in Gaza, all before the eyes of the world community.

The Turkish minister described Israel's actions as crimes against human rights and conscience.

Fidan also expressed his views on the relations of Central Asian countries with Cyprus and the influence of the European Union on such processes. He said that Ankara will maintain solidarity with the Turkic world.
