At least 100 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured as a result of the Israeli army's attack on a school where displaced people took shelter in Gaza City.

According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, the Israeli army attacked the Et-Tabiin school, where displaced people took shelter in Ed-Derak district, east of Gaza.

At least 100 people were killed and dozens injured in the attack that took place at the school where thousands of people took refuge while they were performing morning prayers.

According to local sources, the bodies were dismembered by the attack and burned by the fire. Civil defense teams reportedly struggled to collect body parts scattered around.

The Israeli army claimed that the Air Force used the Hamas Tabin school as its headquarters.
