Israel and Hamas continue talks in Egypt

Occupying Israel and the Palestinian resistance movement HAMAS have begun negotiations to end the war and release hostages.

The talks are taking place under a 20-point "peace plan" developed by Donald Trump. The meeting is being held in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, mediated by the United States.

According to Trump's plan, the process of ending the war will take place in several stages:

Immediate ceasefire - to be implemented as soon as both sides formally approve the plan;

The disarmament of Hamas and the transformation of Gaza into a "radicalization-free zone";

Hostage release: Hamas must return 48 Israelis (20 of whom are believed to be alive) within 72 hours;

The Zionist-fascists will also release Palestinian prisoners. This includes 250 lifers and 1,700 people, including women and children;

For every hostage returned, Israel will return the bodies of 15 Palestinians;

Israeli troops will be withdrawn in stages, replaced by the International Stabilization Force (ISF).

The US delegation participating in the negotiations is led by Special Representative Steve Witkoff, and is accompanied by Trump's close adviser and former son-in-law Jared Kushner, who has arrived in Egypt.

On the Hamas side, Khalil al-Hayya, one of the movement's leaders, is participating in the negotiations.

Trump's plan calls for the establishment of an interim administration in the sector, without the participation of Hamas. This structure would consist of Palestinian officials and would carry out day-to-day administration.

Hamas representatives, for their part, reject the disarmament terms. One of the movement's leaders, Musa Abu Marzuk, said that "weapons can only be handed over to the future Palestinian Authority."

Another representative, Osama Hamdan, stressed that "the entry of foreign forces into Gaza is unacceptable."
