Iran's economy is collapsing, while the regime seeks to gain strength

Masoud Nili, a former advisor to former Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, said that the country has stopped developing today. Its economy is completely destroyed. If fundamental reforms are not implemented, the situation could become even more complicated.

According to the former official, the country's inflation rate has now reached 50%. Investment has almost completely stopped, and the population has lost confidence in the government. Nili also expressed concern that these factors are exacerbating the systemic crisis and bringing the country to the brink of collapse.

The population is forced to live in poverty. Taxes have been increased by 53%, and the price of medicines has increased by 400% in recent years. The minimum wage is three times below the poverty line.

Despite the difficult situation in the country, the government is spending a lot of money to strengthen its power, says the former adviser.

He said the budget for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is being increased, while members of parliament are warning of the possibility of serious disruptions to water, electricity, and internet supplies in the near future.
