"The country's defense budget has been increased significantly - by 200 percent," Mohajerani said without elaborating.
Iran and Israel have been exchanging missile strikes for months. For example, last Saturday, Israel hit Iran in response to the missile attack on October 1.
Tehran said on Monday it would "use all options" in response to Israeli attacks on military targets.
Iran currently has one of the largest armed forces in the Middle East, with about 350,000 military personnel, including more than 220,000 reservists.
