Houthis vowed revenge
Yemen's Ansarullah movement (Houthi) vowed to respond to a US and British airstrike on a residential area in Sana'a province on Saturday, with the Houthi political bureau calling the strikes "an act of insidious and perverse aggression and a full-blown war crime."
"The relentless targeting of civilians is further evidence of the US's terrorism against the peoples and nations that oppose it," the Houthis said in a statement. "The US and British aggression was carried out because of Yemen's support for the Palestinian people, but these actions cannot stop the Yemeni people."
"This aggression will not go unanswered and our armed forces are fully prepared to respond adequately," a Houthi spokesman said. US President Donald Trump announced the start of large-scale airstrikes against the Houthis a short while ago.
"Your time is up and your attacks must stop starting today. If this does not happen, hell will descend upon you like you have never seen before," Trump wrote on Truth Social.
