Haaretz newspaper: There is a discrepancy between the number of wounded soldiers announced by the army and the hospital data
The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that there is a difference between the numbers disclosed by the Israeli army and the information received from the hospitals regarding the number of wounded soldiers, writes Anadolu.
The publication, which claims that Israel covered up military losses during its attacks on Gaza, wrote that the actual number of wounded Israeli soldiers is almost three times higher than the figures disclosed by the Israeli army.
The report stated that since October 7, 1,949 wounded soldiers have been treated in Barzilay hospital alone.
It was noted that 178 soldiers were treated at " Assuta " in Ashdod, 148 at " Ichilov " in Tel Aviv, 181 at " Rambam " in Haifa, 209 at " Hadassa " in Jerusalem, and 139 at " Sha a are Tzedek " hospitals .
In addition, Haaretz reported that at least 1,000 soldiers wounded in the clashes are being treated at Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba , and at least 650 soldiers have been taken to hospitals in Tel Hashomer.
