Freeman: "Israel's next target is Turkey"
Following the escalating situation in the Middle East and Israel's attacks on Iran, active discussions have begun in political circles about Tel Aviv's next steps. Statements made by former US diplomat and ambassador Charles Freeman have caused serious discussions: Freeman noted that Turkey could be Israel's next target.
Charles Freeman says that "Israel" is acting on the basis of a previously developed strategic plan to achieve complete domination in the region. It is not for nothing that American General Wesley Clark mentioned in his statements that "Israel" plans to destroy seven states in five years.
Freeman says that there is a growing consensus in Israeli political circles today that the attacks will not end with Iran, but will instead be directed at Turkey.
"The attack on Iran was essentially a rehearsal. The original target was Turkey. They see removing Turkey from their path as an important step," Freeman said.
The former diplomat noted that Israel relies on two important factors in its actions: full Western support and the right to impunity for violating international law.
"Today, 'Israel' is the most brutal, immoral, and undemocratic state in the world," he says. "No other state can claim the title of 'the worst' except the Zionists."
Freeman stressed the need for regional unity to stop Israel's expansionist policies. He believes that if Israel is not stopped in time, the entire region will face great danger.
