Death of Hamas leader Muhammad al-Dayf confirmed

Abu Ubayda, a spokesman for the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas' armed wing, confirmed the death of the organization's leader, Muhammad al-Dayf, and several other leaders.

According to the statement, members of the Qassam Brigades Military Council - Marwan Issa, Ghazi Abu Tamah, Raid Thabit, Rafi Salama, Ahmed al-Ghandour, and Ayman Nawfal - were also killed.

However, no official information was provided about exactly when and how Dayf died.
