Britain and Norway to finance delivery of hundreds of thousands of drones to Ukraine

The UK and Norway will allocate 450 million pounds ($580 million) to finance the supply of military drones to Ukraine, Bloomberg reports.

The funds will be used to supply FPV drones, radar systems, and anti-tank mines that can strike targets.

The British Ministry of Defense reports that drones are responsible for 60-70 percent of the damage to Russian equipment on the Ukrainian front. The package also covers the repair and maintenance of military equipment.

"We will spare no effort to help Ukraine become as strong as possible and to increase pressure on Putin," British Defense Secretary John Healy told a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Liaison Group. He also announced plans to provide strong security guarantees for Ukraine if a ceasefire is signed with Russia.
