The Speaker of the Russian Parliament, Vyacheslav Volodin, criticized the words of the head of the investigative committee, Alexander Bastrykin. This was reported by RBK.

Volodin said that the head of the investigative committee directly "insulted the people" by calling the lower house "Gosudarstvennaya dura" (meaning fools in power) instead of "Gosduma".

"Deputies were elected by the citizens of the Russian Federation, and Bastrykin directly insulted the people by beating their honor to the ground," said the speaker.

The fact is that on June 27, the chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, said that it is necessary to tighten the migration policy and accused the deputies of the State Duma of delaying the review of anti-immigrant laws.

"Are there no deputies here?" You are an MP, right? Please tell me what is happening in the State Duma! When will they pass new laws appropriate to the urgency of the situation? I would like to know when our "Gosudarstvennaya dura" can adopt good laws," he said.

He added that more than 30,000 immigrants who received Russian citizenship and did not want to be registered in the military "were identified". 10,000 of them have already been sent to the war in Ukraine.
