It has been reported that a seven-year-old boy was sacrificed at a private school in India to increase the institution's income. The founder of the school and his son, who works as a director, were arrested in connection with this case. According to the National Crime Records Bureau of India, 103 people were killed in the country between 2014 and 2021.

A seven-year-old second-grade boy was killed in a sacrificial ritual at a private school in Khatras, India's central Uttar Pradesh state. This was reported by the local police.

It is noted that the sacrificial ceremony was held by the owners of the school to increase the income of the institution.

Jasodhan Singh, the owner of a private school, his son Dinesh Baghel, who is the principal of the school, and three teachers have been arrested in connection with this case, Hindustan Times writes.

The boy was found dead in his bed in the school dormitory. Police officer Himanshu Mathur said that the boy was killed by Baghel's father before the black magic ceremony was performed.

"The boy was sacrificed as part of a ritual to ensure the success and glory of the school," senior police officer Nipun Agarwal told the Times of India.

Agarwal also stated that the principal and his father had earlier tried to sacrifice another boy for the same reason, but the plan failed.
