Religion is lightness

It is narrated from Abu Huraira, may God be pleased with him: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "Religion is lightness." Whoever strives to be firm in religion, religion will overcome him. Therefore, do the right thing, draw closer, be happy, use your refreshing time in the morning, at the end of the day, and at night" (Narrated by Imam Bukhari).
Imam Suyuti says: "Our Prophet, may God's prayers and peace be upon him, called Islam light compared to previous religions. Because Allah Almighty removed the difficulties of the previous religions from this religion. A clear example of this: the repentance of the people of the previous religion was self-execution, and the repentance of this Ummah is to leave the sin, resolve not to return to it, and repent.
The purpose of saying "Whoever strives to be firm in religion" is that no one should approach religion with tashaddud (hardness). It means that dealing with religion should not be like dealing with two people who are trying to destroy each other. That is, it should not be too much, should not deviate from the average. Ibn Tiin said: "This is not to forbid the desire for perfection in worship, but to prevent it from going too far, which leads to laziness."
By "do right" is meant "continue in the mean between excess and indolence."
"Approach", that is, if you can't do the actions perfectly, try to get closer to it.
"Rejoice" is being preached to those who are few, but who are consistently righteous.
Our Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, compared the journey to God to an ordinary journey by saying, "Use the rest of your time at the end of the day and at night." It is known that if a traveler sets out without rest, he will not reach his destination. If he rests and walks in his leisure time, he will reach his destination easily. Because Allah, the Most High, has said in His Book: "Allah wants lightness for you, He does not want burden" (Baqara, 185).
