According to the Ministry of Labor of Tajikistan, 17,100 citizens of the republic were expelled from Russia in the first half of 2024. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan did not find any persons involved in terrorist or extremist crimes among the citizens deported from Russia for violating the migration law.

Abdurahman Alamshozoda, the first deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, announced this during a press conference.

"Not a single fact has been recorded that they have committed terrorist or extremist crimes," he said in response to a TASS journalist's question.
