Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has dissolved the military cabinet formed after the attack on Zionists by the Hamas resistance movement. This was reported in the mass media of the occupiers.

The relevant decision was made after the former Israeli defense minister Benny Gantz announced his resignation from the military cabinet. Gadi Eisenkot, the former Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, also left the military cabinet after him.

Netanyahu is now expected to make decisions on military action in Gaza with a small group, including Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, who served in the military cabinet.

The military cabinet was formed on October 7, 2023, shortly after the Hamas attack. It included Netanyahu's associates as well as key political opponents, including Benny Gantz.

For information, on June 10 Gantz announced his resignation from the military cabinet and called for early elections in the country. He criticized Netanyahu for not having a clear plan for the war against Hamas and a post-war strategy for the Gaza Strip.
