Samsung is leaving Israel
South Korea's Samsung has decided to shut down 70 startup projects in the country and exit the market due to Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip and shrinking profit margins.
Samsung Next, a company that combines global investments of Samsung, has decided to withdraw 70 startup projects in Israel and leave this market, TRT reports .
The reasons for the company's departure were Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip and declining profit margins. According to a report on the website of the BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) movement, Samsung's profits fell by 56 percent compared to last year.
It should be noted that despite calls for a cease-fire around the world, Israel continues its military operations against civilians in Gaza. As a result, a number of large companies are deciding to limit or reduce production in Israel.
