5 people who committed crimes against humanity during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina were arrested.

A court in Bosnia and Herzegovina has sentenced 5 people to 5 to 20 years in prison for war crimes against humanity in the city of Priedor during the 1992-1995 war.

In the court statement , it was announced that Ilija Zoric, who committed a crime against Bosnian civilians in the village of Zekovi, Priedor during the war, was sentenced to 20 years, Zoran Milunuch 14 years, Dushan Milunic 12 years , Zoran Stojnik 8 years, and Ljubisa Cetic 5 years.

In the statement, attention was drawn to the fact that the trial of the 5 criminals, whose names were given, began 9 years ago, and it was also mentioned that the case has the right to appeal.

It was also noted that at least 150 Bosnian civilians were killed in and around Zekovi at that time, and most of them were imprisoned in concentration camps.

Relatives of the victim are not happy with the decision

Fikret Bachic, who lost his loved ones in Priedor, expressed the sadness of the decision and said, "We are happy that the atrocities committed in Zeke hunting were tried, but very little punishment was received . The bodies of more than 600 people who died in Priedor have not been found yet."

"Some of the criminals are still hiding , " said Basich, who was not satisfied with the decision.

According to the reports of the Institute of Missing Persons of Bosnia and Herzegovina , between 1992 and 1995, 5,209 Bosniaks, including 4,093 civilians, died in Priedor.
