The US will revoke the legal status of immigrants from 4 countries

Migrants who came to the United States from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela under a special visa program will be stripped of their legal status, Anadolu Agency reports.

According to the draft published in the US Official Gazette, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has made a decision regarding migrants from these four countries.

According to the document, citizens of Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela who are in the United States will lose their legal status.

The final version of this decision is expected to be announced on March 25. This decision could affect 532,000 migrants.

It should be recalled that under this program, which came into effect in 2022, migrants with "sponsors" in the United States were granted the right to live and work in the country for two years for humanitarian reasons.
