The House of Representatives of the US Congress has approved with a minimum majority the Republican bill, which provides for the continuous supply of weapons to Israel, reports The Hill. In Congress, 224 senators supported the bill, and 187 voted against it.

224 senators supported and 187 voted against President Biden's proposal to cancel the decision to stop the supply of certain types of weapons to the Israelis.

The bill would strip the White House of any ability to suspend or cancel arms sales to Israel approved by Congress. According to the amendments, a 15-day period will be allocated for the delivery of weapons.

However, the bill has little chance of passing the Senate, given that it is controlled by Democrats and their leaders have vowed not to consider it.

The White House has also announced its intention to veto the amendments if passed by Congress.
