A person who was said to be a spy of the "Mossad" intelligence service was executed in Iran
Iran's state news agency IRNA reported that a man was executed in the south-eastern province of Sistan and Baluchistan, accused of spying for Israel's Mossad intelligence agency.
The unidentified man was reportedly executed this morning for "knowingly collecting classified information" and passing it on to foreign intelligence services, specifically the Israeli spy service.
This person was accused and convicted of collecting intelligence information "for the purpose of disrupting order in the country and conducting propaganda in favor of groups and organizations opposed to the Islamic Republic."
The death sentence was executed in Zahidan prison.
